The ANS Society is the Church’s women’s organization. This society provides various spiritual, social, and organizational benefits to the Parish’s women.
Women have had a voice and vote in the PNCC long before woman’s suffrage occurred in the United States. Women stood shoulder to shoulder with the men of the PNCC in decrying the abuses that led to the founding of the PNCC. Three women, Anna Silakowska, Józefa Chojnowska and Walentyna Wendland were among the lay leaders of the PNCC and were arrested for their part in protests against clerical abuse.
As a woman you have an important, vital, and central role in promoting and maintaining the Church socially, physically, and spiritually. The ANS is both a legacy to the strength of our women and an opportunity to build for the future. Your help is needed. Please join today! Any woman 16 years of age or older is eligible.
