The Blessed Virgin Mary of Czestochowa Parish is part of the Central Diocese of Polish National Catholic Church.

The Ordinary of the Central Diocese is the Rt. Rev. Dr. Anthony Mikovsky.

About Bishop Mikovsky

Four Bishops elected during the XXII General Synod of the Polish National Catholic Church and were consecrated on the Feast of St. Andrew the Apostle. The Rt. Rev. Dr. Anthony Mikovsky was assigned as Bishop Ordinary of the Central Diocese.

The Rt. Rev. Dr. Anthony Mikovsky is a native of Trenton, NJ and is a lifelong member of the Polish National Catholic Church. He was ordained to the Holy Priesthood in 1997, the same year in which he earned a doctoral degree in mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Bishop Mikovsky is the English Language editor of God's Field, the official organ of the PNCC, and has been an active participant in the PNCC-RC dialog process. He was recently appointed PNCC co-chair to the dialog.

Prior to becoming Bishop he was the assistant pastor of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr Cathedral, the Mother Church of the PNCC, serving under the late Bishop Casimir Grotnik. Bishop Mikovsky is married and he and his wife Carol are resident at the cathedral rectory.
